Marie-Chloé Duval is a Canadian-born contemporary visual artist based in New York City whose interdisciplinary practice bridges contemporary painting, social research, and visual storytelling. Working between figuration and abstraction, Duval investigates human behavior, social systems, and collective structures. Through richly layered compositions, she transforms academic research into a compelling visual language. Drawing on her background in criminology, her paintings examine social structures, memory, frameworks, social codes and relational patterns.
